Title: Account Development Representative 

Summary:

The Account Development Representative will play a crucial role supporting the Business Development Team.  With direction from their manager, this person will undertake outbound sales, support key accounts, engage with clients, and interface with our lead generating solutions. This position is eligible for commission incentives.

You should possess a passion for sustainability,  and net positive business, with strong desire to change the way commerce is done today.  Must be able to function and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and bring an ability to influence and persuade internal and external partners & team members. Analytical and data driven decision making skills are highly desirable along with a clear communication style.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Business Development Team by developing new business connections through cold outreach
  • Primary success criteria is measured through generating a high volume of sales appointments
  • Secondary success criteria covers outbound activity include total number of emails/calls sent
  • Preparation of Sales Materials
  • New & Existing Account Research
  • Identify and distinguish key targets in our database
  • Reviewing and assigning prospective opportunities
  • Updating information in Salesforce, our CRM
  • Market research through social + professional platforms
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Prospect development
  • Manage and track critical sales administration activities
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Maintain and update product inventories across lines of business
  • Working closely with finance team to ensure accurate invoicing processes

About You/Desired Experience:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 3-5 years  relevant experience in business or sales Knowledge of Corporate Sustainability preferred
  • Experience of CPG, Retail industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite)
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred or other CRM experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work effectively with a team
  • Highly organized and focused with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to twice per years
