Position Title: Business Development Manager –Membership
Responsibilities:
Sell the Sustainable Brands company memberships and advisory services product lines
Deliver annualized sales between US$500K - $1.5MM depending on experience, position and tenure level, through the creation and ongoing management of a Sales Pipeline that is both self-generated as well as generated by internal Business Development processes
Seek to engage with Global 1000 companies horizontally and vertically, finding the decision maker and crafting custom engagement opportunities
Grow revenue both nationally & internationally
Actively contribute to SB’s mission and growth opportunities across all business / product suites
Using a consultative approach, develop client-focused packages to include the appropriate membership level, additional tickets and licenses, and advisory service add-ons
Seek out opportunities to up-level clients to include event sponsorships and digital packages, and share those leads with other salespeople
Manage leads and accounts in Salesforce, documenting all interactions
About You
5 years’ experience in strategic-level business development and sales environment
Proactive, engaged & innovative thought leader and subject matter expert in Sustainability
Demonstrated track record of solid sales performance driving revenue growth
Results driven & customer centric
Position requires excellent written, communication & presentation skills
Encourages teamwork
Accountable in all actions and displaying unquestionable integrity and trust
Ability to communicate openly & encourages feedback
Collaborative in nature
Comfortable presenting to Senior Executives, CEOs, CMOs & CSOs
Expert client service experience and proven ability to inspire and motivate teams
Entrepreneurial experience a plus
Innovative & creative a natural out-of-the-box thinker
Proven track record of cultivating relationships & developing proposals
